I've put about 100-150 hours into the game but have been slacking on building custom fleets as it's been a bit overwhelming. This fleet composition assumes you are playing against the AI. The AI, in the early game, likes to run picket defense corvettes. Due to this, we want 50 percent of our fleet, made up of gun corvettes, using a mix of laser and kinetic weaponry. These interceptors will counter picket defenses very nicely.1. 6. 2023. ... You got +5/+10% specialists, which is …There are 3 civics increasing mercenary enclave cap. Take 2, probs the pirate one and admiral one. Go for statecraft first get third enclave cap civic, universal transactions ascension and final enclave cap ascension after another tradition. Then, I got paragon admirals and started building paragon enclaves. Was very fun rp wise.Post-patch meta, you need Missiles, Strike Craft and Penetration Weapons (Disruptors, Arc Emitters for the Carriers). Kinetics are pointless except for using ACs to cheese fleetpower. Non-Disruptor energy weapons are pointless. So if anything, the meta has become even narrower.Rogue Servitor is probably the best scaling build in the game. Bio-trophies (more than anything else) give complex drone output, which means that on your capital + 1 colony (resettle biotrophies to alloy and research worlds) you can produce absurd alloys and research, even without that much territory. Gestalt in general seems to outscale non ...Traits; thrifty, intelligent conservationist, unruly and decadent. Ethics; fanatic xenofile and spiritualist. Civics; free traders and brand loyalty. This is a writeup on the best ship designs in Stellaris v 3.8.3, and yes I know it's quite long. There is a Synopsis with the conclusions at the end of the post. It’s not going to include the best fleet designs, though I think we might be able to make some inferences. Artillery/Carrier remains a powerful fleet design in 3.8 (3.6+ rebalance), but the weakness to Flak has made it trickier to use. Furthermore, the snowball-behavior of Carriers (ie: Strike Craft being effective vs not being effective) is difficult to predict and understand. Very n00b-unfriendly. The additional 20% happiness is also really really good, translating to roughly 12% stability which translates to +8% production and trade. If you want something a bit OP and different, try Lithoid / Subterranean / Master Crafters. It will be used to keep the trade lanes clear. That’s what small fry are good at. A cruiser for firepower, a couple of destroyers and a half dozen corvettes will do fine. The next type I use against moderate threats. Six cruisers, six destroyers, six corvettes and four frigates. That’s a good mix and a step up.. Seacoast kettlebell
